Wine and Cheese Party

Thank you, Sara, for throwing such a FUN wine and cheese party.

Everyone was well fed

and well...wined?...

I enjoyed meeting new friends

and clowning around with some old ones

And you know I can't post about you and not add a "Sara Face" picture.

A penny saved, is a penny she can play with

Grandma and Grandpa have a cute purple piggy bank just for Carly at their house.
She LOVES to sit in her high chair and pick the coins up and put them in her piggy bank.

Will she prove to be more of a saver or a spender?
She loves to go shopping, so my money (ha ha) is on her being a spender. Don't tell Freddy!

How stinkin' cute...?

How stinkin' cute is our little Colts fan?!

Cambree and Carly

Carly and I met Chelsea and Cambree for dinner a few weeks ago. We do this from time to time when our schedules allow, but I always forget to take pictures of the girls together. Not this time!
Carly and Cambree are about two months apart - Carly being the younger one. Click here to see pictures of them together almost a year ago. Holy Cow have they changed since then! At least Carly didn't throw up all over me this time!
At first they weren't too sure of each other.

But then they warmed up.

And Carly tried to poke Cambree in the eye. Of course! Why wouldn't she?

But then she did try to hug Cambree. She loves to give her friend hugs!

See you again soon, Cambree and Chelsea!

No, mom! Not the long sleeve pajamas!

ANYTHING but the long sleeve pajamas!

As a person who stares longingly at the long sleeve shirts in my closet all summer long, I have to wonder where she gets her disdain for long sleeves.

Halloween Craft

I saw this on Martha Stewart's website and I want to make something similar. I think that I would prefer to have bats "flying around the tree", but I LOVE the black/lime green/silver color-combo.
Anyone have a large tree in thier yard that needs a little trim?

A new blogging tradition...I hope.

Today I will begin what I hope will be a long-running blogging tradition.

A monthly to-do list.
Nothing too hard.
Just 3-5 things that I want to do that month - just to keep life interesting.

I'll call it...My Monthly Must-Do's.
No. My Monthly Missions.
That still doesn't feel right. How about Periodic Projects?

Hmmm...How about a little help from my friends? (Katie! Courtney!)

Name or no name, I can still share my October list with you.

1. Sample a pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks to find out what the fuss is all about.

2. Make a fall wreath for my front door.
Blogger confession: I am Gill-T of blog-stalking again.
A week or two ago I came across (via Lauren's Blog) a fun blog - Denson Duet.
She made an adorable wreath and it inspired me to make my own.
Lauren, please feel free to tell your friend that she has a blog stalker.
Try to reassure her that I am not a total crazy.

I like the wreath that Lauren refers to as "too country" on her blog, but since she is a little more "city", I offer these ideas in hopes that she will let me crash her wreath-making party.

3. Fix the weather stripping on the door that leads form the house in to the garage.

and one "I'm not making any promises, but I'll give it a shot" to-do:
Make a new blog header all by myself. I mean, hello! It's not our rookie year anymore.

Wish me luck!
