Halfy Birthday, Carly!

On September 13, Carly turned 18 months old. Holy Cow!
If you remember, last year I stole a family tradition from the Parr Sisters and started making Carly cookies for her half birthday. This year was snicker doodles.
She liked it at first.

But after further examination,
she decided that sweets are for the dog.

Carly's 18 month stats:
Head - 95th percentile
Height - 30th percentile
Weight - under the 5th percentile
She is still t-tiny. She only weighs 19 lbs, 14 oz.
And perfect in every way...

Carly's Courtship

Carly's boyfriend, Jonah, came to visit earlier this month.
We (the parents) are hoping that this is the beginning of their courtship.

Ball Pits and Strollers

There are two things you should know about me.
1. I am cheap.
2. I am not a fan of character merchandise. You know, Dora t-shirts and Mickey Mouse tennis shoes. I know that some people love it...don't worry, I don't judge you. I am sure there are things that I put on Carly that other people don't like. I accept that.
Anyway...Carly LOVES the ball pit at Mother's Day Out, so we decided to get her one. The one we found at Walmart was $30 and covered in Disney Princesses.
Sooooo...One $10 bag of 100 balls and one $3 blow-up pool later and Carly had her own ball pit for less than half the cost.
What could be better?
For Carly, sitting in your stroller and pointing to the balls you want to play with is better.
Have I mentioned Carly's new-found love for the stroller?
We used to not be able to make it off the street before she was in a fit of tears.
Now the stroller seems to be the only place she wants to be.
Okay, then. She might as well be comfortable.

Hello out there!

Hello...hello...hello...
Is that an echo I hear?
Have my blog followers abandoned me after my long absence? I could not blame anyone for abandoning my blog. I have been so bad.

Will these adorable pictures entice anyone back?
I LOVE Carly's expression in this one. Too bad Freddy isn't smiling and Lola isn't looking.

I promise to blog this weekend. I promise.
