Life changes bring on list changes

My life has changed some since I wrote my Thirty By Thirty List. I have new priorities, new dreams, new goals. So I altered my list to reflect this.
I'm gonna be honest with you for a second...I changed a few things on my list a few weeks ago and I forgot what I deleted. I think I deleted ride in a hot air balloon, visit Scranton, Pennsylvania and take a Spanish class. I have replaced them with
Try a new cuisine (Sara, I think you can help me with this one)
Start a Book Club
Write a children's book and submit it for publication.
Less than ten months to go!

Carly meets Cereal

Carly, this is cereal.
Cereal, this is Carly's mouth. And that thing that keeps pushing you out of her mouth - that's her tongue. Tomorrow we will introduce you to her chin, cheek, fingers, hand, chest, tummy, neck...

Fun was had by all

How do you make a cranky baby happy?
Put her in her exercauser! There is so much to be discovered, it will take her MONTHS to see it all.

Hello, buggie!

Holding a head up is hard, tiring work. Rest is best.

Swim Fan

T-Tiny went swimming at Grandma and Grandpa's for the first time a few weeks ago. I was able to find a t-tiny swimsuit that fit her (and isn't it cute?) but they don't make swim diapers small enough for her. Some day...

She liked it, then she didn't then she did. I think that the next time she goes she will like it more a. because we bought some fun floatie intertube thingies for her and b. because she kick-kicks all the way through her baths so I think she digs the water more now.

Kicked one off of my list

A few Saturdays ago I kicked the butt of one action item on my Thirty by Thirty List when Shelby and I took a self defense class taught by real senseis.

We thought that we were pretty bad ace until we got home and Matt and Freddy tested our skills. Clearly the instructors are much easier on you than a real attacker would be.

Consider my bubble bursted.

Matt let me try out my skills on him. I won.

This eight-time state champ 12-year-old has nothing on me and Shelby. I mean, it was South Carolina. I could win a state championship in South Carolina. (Dalton, if you are reading this I was just kidding)

Carly is Four Months Old!

Carly turned four months old on Monday. I can hardly believe it.
Little Bit weighed in at 11 lbs. 14 ounces.

Saliva Bubbles

Carly's latest trick is blowing saliva bubbles. Gross, wet and slimy but she just looks SO CUTE when she is doing it!

To Nana's House We Go

Last Saturday we headed to Nana and Grandpa's house to introduce Carly to Freddy's grandmother, her great-grandmother.

Every time I checked the baby mirror, all I would see is her foot.

Bring on the Bumbo!

Carly finally likes the Bumbo.

She loves it when it is on the floor because she can see Lola better.

And so does Lola because it gives her easier access to Carly.

It's all about the accesories

I have to give it to Matt. He looks handsome in Carly's sunglasses. Shelby is a lucky woman!

But I still think Carly looks cuter.

Puppy Love

In light of all of the recent Carly posts, I would like to show some puppy love for my puppy love and Carly's bff, Lola.

Take me out to the ball game...or bring the ball game to me.

Freddy and I went to the Rangers Game on July 5th. If you remember, that evening had beautiful, picture-perfect baseball weather. Ahhhhh...It was so enjoyable. Almost as enjoyable as the top-it-yourself-ice-cream-in-a-helmet(s) we had.
You know we had to try the mini-helmets on our girls the next day...
