Am I a bad person if I forgo the Christmas decorations this year?
I was going to set up the Christmas tree the weekend following Thanksgiving, but Freddy was hunting and the box was way up in the attic. I didn't think that it was wise to retrieve it by myself. Since then our weekends have been packed and I just haven't gotten around to it.
My thought now is that since we won't be at our house for Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, I don't want to go through all of the hassle. I mean, Christmas is only 10 days away. So, all of the decorations are in the attic, not to be hung this year.
At least we have Christmas lights on the house. Thanks, Freddy!

lights on the house is more than i can say for myself and we are having Christmas at our house this year!!! We have to get busy, but we aren't going overboard! Christmas is about being with family, not the decorations!
I only have about 25% of our decorations up. I just don't feel like it....isn't that terrible. I was actually thinking about taking our tree down this weekend. Yes, before Christmas, isn't that terrible. I don't even have any presents under it. I wrapped them and put them by the door since we aren't doing any Christmases here...I'm a scrooge, I guess!

After decorating at Grubbs and at the house... not to mention being the on call Christmas bow making slave at work, it sucks the fun out decorating anyway. AND your pregnant, which means you're excused.
Or go buy a cheap table fur and put up some colored balls... Charlie Brown style. :)
